Education Jobs Event ? Be a South Carolina Teacher

The American Board, a non-profit dedicated to recruiting and certifying community-based
teachers in Florida, will host a public event on how local residents can become certified South Carolina
teachers.

Attendees will learn what to expect in a career as a teacher and receive advisement on a
personalized path to certification.

The event will be held Saturday, October 20 at 2 pm and 3 pm at the Matheson Library, 227 Huger Street in Cheraw and will be led by South Carolina Teacher Certification Specialist Earlena Brown .

The event is free and open to the public. No tickets are required for entry.
