              Event Description:
               On Saturday December 1st, the Town of Cheraw will host ChristmasFest, a downtown family-friendly Christmas  event to celebrate the Christmas season as well as create  traffic for our local businesses.  During this one-day event, those attending will enjoy a fun-filled day including a dazzling ChristmasFest fireworks display at dusk.  The following are some of the activities that will be happening... 11:00 am-12:00 noon: Theatre on the Green: “Whoville Meets Cheraw-Ville”
              12:00 noon-5:30 pm; 100 block of Market St: Reindeer Games (Rudolph’s Turbo Tubs, Dasher’s Dash-away Slide, Blitzen’s Bounce House)
              12:00 noon-5:30; 1o0 block of Market St.:The Christmas Carousel
              12:00 noon-5:30; 100 block of Market St.: Holiday Bake Shoppe (Brought to you by the Cheraw Chamber of Commerce) $1.00 Buys you a sugar cookie and we’ll help you decorate it anyway you like!
              12:00 noon –8:00 pm; Second St. Horse Drawn Carriage Rides
              These events along with roving Christmas Characters, Entertainment at the Village Square, the Oh! Christmas Trees at Centennial Park, Santa Claus coming to town , The Polar Express as well as the fireworks display at dusk and OnStage’s presentation of their newest work, “Sorry, Wrong Chimney at 7:30 pm will complete a truly festive ChristmasFest.  If you have any questions please contact David Sides at Town Hall  (dsides@cheraw.com or 843-537-8425)
